Hoping the beginning of your summer is amazing and everyone has fun Readlyn Days & Fairbank Days plans! We are squeezing a few weekend getaways in between Travel Ball, Rec Baseball, & T-Ball with all 3 little Jones kids + Cody starting 7 on 7 & summer workouts with Football … oftentimes we don’t even know what day it is, but we are loving every minute of it!
In early May I went to Kansas City to attend our firm’s “Prime Week” for internal and industry wide training. Leaders from private investment firms, Goldman Sachs, Charles Schwab & more were there to provide guidance and best practices no matter what the future of the markets hold. The synergy of being around some of the brightest minds in the industry is always my favorite part.
There are tenured advisors, brand new advisors, our compliance team, our marketing team, our investment team, our entire C-Suite team, & more in attendance so there is no doubt that we are aligned in making our clients’ interests our #1 priority.
Markets are still positive for the year (as of when I write this) so while the Fed continues to hold steady on interest rates, our investment team’s eyes remain on other factors like inflation, international tensions, domestic elections & other GDP related data. Breaking news, opinions, and predictions are plentiful; however, our team of analysts works very hard to shut out the noise, stick to the data, and tactically position our clients for all types of economic environments. We appreciate their constant insight and transparency and are very proud of their commitment to our clientele.
One last interesting fact about our firm: We have a BAND! “Toxic Assets” is comprised of a few advisors, leaders from our trading desk & our accounting department, even our Chief Compliance Officer! They have won “Battle of the Bands” time and again in Kansas City competitions and they’re an absolute blast to be around…
Best of all: their lead singer, Brad Holdhusen, has agreed to come play in Fairbank for a Special Edition of Music in the Park! He has come up from Kansas City to work with me and attend a Music in the Park once before and he is ecstatic to come back to the big stage as a headliner. We can’t wait!!
